Terms & Conditions

These are the terms and conditions form the basis on which we do business for goods ordered through this website. They are intended to be fair to the customer and layout our role as a supplier of Trophies, Gifts and Medals. They do not affect the consumer's statutory rights. 

By purchasing from this website the customer agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions as well as by our returns policy. We believe it is advisable for the customer to print and keep a copy of these terms for their personal reference as these are the sole terms and conditions upon which we agree to contract with the customer and no alteration of these terms and conditions shall be valid.

A contract is formed between us when (and not before) we ship a customer order. The order will not be accepted until we receive payment or in the case of cheques until funds have been cleared. Cheques, bank drafts and postal orders should be made out to "Zatori Results Ltd". The images, illustrations and all other information contained on this website, catalogues and other advertising matter are for general information and guidance only and shall not be deemed to form part of the contract. Customers must read and base their purchase upon the description of the product.

All prices on our website are inclusive of VAT where applicable. The VAT amount will be stated on the checkout page, this stated amount is not added to the total, merely extracted for your reference to portray the taxes already included in the totals. All transactions are processed in the Euro currency, consumers must be over 18 to purchase from this site. Goods shipped outside of the EU may be subject to local customs and import duties.

Any errors regarding website based information, quotation, price list, acceptance of offer, invoice or other documentation or information issued by us shall be subject to correction without any liability on our part.

Please note all sizes are approximate and usually provided by the manufacturers/suppliers and we cannot guarantee their exact size. All measurements are taken from the absolute bottom of an award up to the very highest point, often the tips of  the handles, so a 10" cup may be a 6" cup with a 2" base and having handles that extend 2" beyond the top of the cup it will be described as a 10" cup/trophy/award. Because the sizes are approximate please allow 5% to 10% difference either way.

Customers are required to ensure they check their order carefully before submitting it for payment. Orders may only be cancelled by phone / email before an of the order has been engraved or dispatched, orders can be processed quickly so please contact us as soon as possible should you need to cancell an order. If any of the products are personalised or engraved they cannot be cancelled or returned. Where you require engraving please be sure to select the engraving option and double check all spellings as all orders will be fulfilled as per the online order placed. Once an order has been engraved we are unable to make changes to any spelling errors.

In the event of a proof or sample being requested, we may at our sole discretion provide this based on our available time, the value of an order or the complexity of the artwork. Where a proof is requested for smaller orders in quantity and or value under €500. We will not provide proof of concept or artwork in advance. Where multiple awards share the same layout/logo's, a single proof may be provided with the assumption that the layout and font will remain the same and the content such as engraved names and dates will change. This will not form part of the pricing included with the purchase of the piece, additional payment may be requested for additional services.

We require full contact details before we can despatch an order, this includes full delivery information including a contact number. If an incorrect delivery address is provided this will result in a delay in delivery.

If you fail to take delivery of the ordered goods and they are returned to us, we will contact you upon their arrival via email. A refund of the cost of goods that have not been personalised will be given. This refund does not include shipping. If the goods are still required, we will require an additional shipping fee to make a second delivery. It is the responsibility of the customer to make sure that someone is at the delivery address who can sign for receipt of the goods. Products will not be left without a signature. Customers must also be available on their chosen contact number to facilitate the courier with delivery. In instances where couriers cannot make phone contact, packages may not be delivered. Please note that if a customer does request a call before delivery from the courier, we pass the request on to the courier company and cannot guarantee that they will call. Risk of damage to or loss of ordered goods becomes the customers responsibility at the time the goods leave our premises for delivery.

In the unlikely event of goods being damaged on receipt of delivery. Please contact us within 24 hours so we can resolve these issues for you and with our courier partners.

Usually everything displayed on our site as in stock is present in our warehouse and available for immediate dispatch. If any ordered goods are not readily available to us, we reserve the right to withdraw our acceptance of your order for such goods. We will refund in full any payment the customer has made for such goods. To avoid any doubt other goods ordered by the customer will be dispatched in the normal way. In the unlikely case of this happening we undertake to notify the customer at the earliest opportunity. It is our experience that delivery is 99% of the time within the chosen delivery time periods. We use a third party courier service and on occasion human error may cause a package to be misdirected.
During our busiest times (Particularly late Spring - early Summer) We experience massive volumes of personalised works. To make sure all customers are taken care of we use the Date of Event field which is entered by the customer at the time of order. At these peak times, delivery dates can only be estimated as we prioritise orders based on when the customers event is. Rest assured, orders will be received on or before the date of your ceremony, competition or event. BuyTrophies.ie cannot be held responsible for a package not reaching its destination on time as delivery is the responsibility of a third party courier. We suggest to customers to order products well in advance of any event that they may be presented at to allow for unforeseen delays. The customer should notify us if they do not receive their package when expected. We will ensure it gets delivered as soon as possible. We guarantee that should delivery not be within the specified time the customer will be entitled to a full refund on the shipping costs, where the courier system is at fault (this is not applicable if unsuccessful attempts were made to contact and deliver you package). Upon delivery, it is the customer's responsibility to check the contents of their packages and inform us of any discrepancies at the earliest.

For international orders, where items are bulky and require additional courier fees, these costs will be passed on to the customer. We will notify the customer in advance, giving the customer the option to cancel the order.

Due to the increase in credit card fraud, for your protection, we may ask for photo identification. The only acceptable forms of ID are valid and unexpired Passport, Driving License, National Age Card and Garda Card. 

We warrant that, upon receipt of goods, the ordered goods will correspond with the written description on this website, will be free from defects in materials and workmanship and will be of merchantable quality (as set out in Sale and Supply of Goods Act 1980). There may, however, be minor variations between the goods as shown or described on our website and those dispatched to you (the goods dispatched will always be of a comparable or superior quality). Where a proof of layout has been provided for verification of logo and spelling, this proof is for text verification purposes only, dimensions and alignment may vary.

Where our sales agents suggest items that are not available on our website but that we may order in for a customer,all quotations are valid for two weeks unless otherwise agreed in writing. Items will not be ordered in until full payment has been made and funds have been cleared.

Except in the case of death or personal injury caused by our negligence, we shall not be liable to the customer by reason of any representation or any implied warranty, condition or other term, or any duty at common law, or under these terms and conditions, for any special, indirect or consequential damage.

Any communication should be by e-mail, where communication is made by phone all aspects of the conversation which you wish to be included in forming part of the conversation must be clarified by e-mail within one hour of the conversation. E-mails sent will be deemed as read, it is your responsibility to ensure that the email address supplied is accurate and capable of receiving our e-mails.

We reserve the right to vary these terms and conditions at any time but, in respect of any ordered goods, the terms and conditions which apply shall be those which the customer has accepted when an order has been placed. Once an order is placed customers are deemed to have read and agreed to the terms and conditions, the returns policy and our price guarantee terms.

If any provision of these terms and conditions is held by any competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, the validity of the other provisions of these terms and conditions and the remainder of the provision in question shall not be affected thereby.

The contract formed by our acceptance of the customer's order shall be governed by Irish laws and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish Courts.
